I bought this keyboard on Amazon about 2 months ago for my new HP personal computer. I loved it so much that I purchased one more 1 for perform. Following buying the 1st keyboard, for investigation purposes, I went into an office supply shop and tried all the keyboards to see if there was another 1 that I liked greater. I tested about 20 keyboards and could not locate one that I liked the feel of greater (of course this is a individual preference). I bought a second among the same keyboard for the workplace. I've had no connectivity problems with this keyboard or mouse. 1 keyboard is becoming utilized in a organization environment with WinXP. I adore the keyboard particularly the Iphone docking. I adore the keys of the keyboard, they're superior and it is wonderful typing on them, they truly elevated my typing speed! But should you like using the 10key to enter your numbers you are going to HATE this!!! The 10key keys are flat and it is actually difficult to depress them, most of the time they do not even function. I hate them as much as I enjoy the keyboard and docking station!!! (Review More...)

The set up method is easy. Load the driver CD, select your keyboard and mouse models and off you go. The software program loaded in less than a couple of minutes. Plug the receiver into a USB port. As soon as I did that the keyboard and mouse had been recognized and ready to utilize. Simple! Top quality met my expectations as I had expertise with this exact set up in my workplace. Keyboard is comfy with good sized keys that were better placed than the wired keyboard it replaced. The mouse is good but feels a bit awkward in my hand. I think it really is just smaller than the ones I'm utilized to. I do have two criticisms of the mouse. 1st, the scroll wheel feels artificially heavy. As odd as it sounds it takes effort to scroll using the wheel. Once again, nothing that I haven't been able to live with but odd all of the same. The other issue will be the button on the best edge of the mouse. In its standard configuration the button activates the magnifier. I locate that it truly is far too simple to accidentally activate the magnifier. So, then you need to click once more to deactivate. To right this I basically configured nothing to occur when I click the button. An inconvenience but again noting that would put me off of producing this acquire. As for range and latency I've had no problems whatsoever with latency or range. I do know from my experience that the effective range of the mouse and receiver is about 4 feet. We're really happy with this obtain. We've attached a pc to the Flat Screen Tv in our family room. The Tv is mounted on the wall, and can switch between cable, DVD and now pc monitor. The Gyration Air Mouse and low profile keyboard work with laptop or computer. So we normally use the air mouse although sitting on the sofa, across the room. I've but to discover all of the functions, but fundamental operation works wonderful. I just purchased a new MS Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 for my desktop computer. I used it for a couple weeks on the initial charge, and everything was fine and working wonderfully, but then it was due for a recharging and it just would not charge, and instead presented me with a blinking red LED while on the charging base after just a minute of green-LED status preceding that. I was all ready to take the new Microsoft Mouse back to where I purchased it. But, I went hunting on the Internet to see if other people were complaining about the mouse recharge issues... YES! COMMON. And the Microsoft Laser Mouse 7000 will not recharge for a RIDICULOUS REASON - which, I have to wonder how many batteries are pitched and/or mouses are returned because of, where MS needs to provide a SIMPLE FIX (due to a simple design flaw) by way of a new battery and/or workaround. MS Wireless Mouse 7000 DESIGN FLAW; SIMPLE FIX! I came across a solution someone figured out, which *appears* to be working now, as my Microsoft mouse, with its small rechargeable Nickel-Metal-Hydride (NiMH) battery, is recharged again finally. I purchased this package to replace an old trackball mouse. I didn't truly require the keyboard, but decided on the combo anyway; I was pleasantly surprised at how convenient the enhanced keyboard is! The mouse works well (as expected) as well as the color of both keyboard and mouse looks actually sharp (black with silver accents). KEYBOARD: pros: enhanced buttons are excellent (ex: jog dial to control volume, scroll wheel to scroll up and down when browsing webpages (like the scroll wheel on the mouse)); the keys have a soft feel to them so typing is far more comfy than on a conventional keyboard (quieter too); flat style is good when typing with the keyboard in your lap; no cords! - I find myself typing in bed and in much more relaxing positions more.
